The Manitoba Association of Cottage Owners Inc. is an umbrella association of cottage, beach, ratepayers’ groups and individuals in Manitoba. It is an incorporated, non-profit association run by volunteers. It’s goal is to promote and advance the common interest of ratepayers in cottaging areas in Manitoba.

Emergency Management Fire Smart

John Fleming Emergency Coordinator for Lac du Bonnet has prepared a "Wildfire Community Engagement Presentation" and also has supplied a "Fire Smart Guide" for study.

As we approach the anniversary of the Wendigo Fire of 2025 we must renew our efforts to take the steps to protect our community and homes within the WILDLAND URBAN INTERFACE (where we have build within the forested areas)
